As a member of our growing Surfacing Team, you'll play an essential role in our continued growth. We value dedication, hard work, and flexibility—making this the perfect opportunity for individuals who thrive in hands-on roles.
Through a 2–3 year traineeship, you'll work on real construction sites, gaining valuable experience in a surfacing squad while progressing through a training programme. This could be on the job or through college, giving you the tools and skills to become a Road Surfacing Skilled Operative. For those showing potential, there's an exciting career path, with the possibility of advancing to roles such as Team Leader, Supervisor, or Surfacing Manager.
In this role, you'll gain both technical and practical expertise in road construction, working alongside a team of seasoned professionals. You will be trained how to operate specialist surfacing equipment and gain experience in various tasks, from general labouring to roller driving, screw-man, and paver operation.
Upon completing the training programme, you can expect an initial salary of £26k–£32k, with the potential to increase to £38k–£65k+ as you move into supervisory or management roles.
