Pat Munro Construction Ltd, a subsidiary of Pat Munro (Alness) Ltd, has successfully secured two significant water infrastructure contracts with Caledonia Water Alliance (CWA) and Morrison Construction. These projects focus on essential water infrastructure and rehabilitation, continuing the company’s strong track record in delivering high-quality services across the North of Scotland. As one of the region’s few WIRS-accredited contractors, Pat Munro Construction is recognised as a leading provider of water and utility services.
The first contract, awarded by long-term client CWA, is part of Scottish Water’s SR21 Capital Investment Programme. Scheduled from January to October 2025, this project involves replacing approximately 8.3 km of small-diameter asbestos cement water mains, running from the northeastern edge of Dingwall to 1.5 miles south of Evanton.
In addition to this achievement, Pat Munro Construction has also secured its first project with Morrison Construction under the same investment programme. Running from February 2025 to March 2026, the project will involve the renewal of around 13.1 km of small-diameter asbestos cement water mains between Balnain and Buntait, west of Drumnadrochit. A significant portion of this work will take place along the A831 road.
These contract wins further enhance Pat Munro Construction’s reputation for delivering critical infrastructure projects that support communities throughout the region. The company’s continued success reflects its commitment to providing reliable, high-quality water and utility services.
