Our Belief
At Pat Munro (Alness) Ltd we recognise the importance of supporting our community, which is why in 2017, The Pat Munro Foundation was established to provide support to a variety of worthy causes within our local area. This includes, charities, community groups and other disadvantaged or social enterprise entities. Run by staff from Pat Munro (Alness) Ltd, The Pat Munro Foundation and members of “Team Pat Munro” organise and take part in a number of events throughout the year to raise funds to facilitate such support, with match funding provided by the company.
As The Pat Munro Foundation get together once a month to go through requests, we decided to start a monthly newsletter to keep you up to date with the causes we support, along with the causes that Pat Munro support throughout the month.

Fortrose Academy Parent Council
This month we had a request from the above to support several fundraising events that they are planning to host to help raise funds for the school. We were delighted to help them with a donation towards their efforts.
Lewis Sinclair Player Sponsorship 
The North of Scotland’s Premier Rugby Club have introduced player sponsorships this year, which will cover the players club membership costs. Lewis Sinclair, of Sinclair Joinery, approached The Pat Munro Foundation and requested that we sponsor him. As he is a big supporter of The Pat Munro Foundation, attending several of our events, we were delighted to support Lewis and the North of Scotland’s Premier Rugby Club.
Run the Runway
Some members of team Pat Munro are taking on the “run the runway” event organised by Maggies Highland and Inverness Airport. 
This amazing event will take place on the Saturday 31 August 2019. We were delighted to help them out with a donation, with all proceeds going to Maggies Highland. An amazing local charity. Shawcor Golf Day
Great supporters of The Pat Munro Foundation, Shawcor, are hosting a golf day raising money for MFR cash for kids. We were delighted to support this by donating a prize to their auction on the day.
Pat Munro (Alness) Ltd
The Pat Munro North of Scotland Cup 
This month, you may have seen that Pat Munro are sponsoring the “Pat Munro North of Scotland Cup”.
The reason for supporting this was to show support for local football, as well as our support for Ross County FC and Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC. At each match, there will be a collection taken to contribute to the work of the Pat Munro Foundation.
The Northern Counties Bowling Association
The Northern Counties Bowling Association was formed in 1967 to foster competitive yet friendly lawn bowling in the North of Scotland. Our 26-member Clubs stretch from Kirkwall to Newtonmore and Strathpeffer to Nairn.
One of the members in this Association is Derek Frew, also a member of Team Pat Munro, so we were delighted to support Derek and the North Counties Bowling Association.
