Pat Munro (Alness) Ltd Expands With New Concrete Production Plants in Inverness and Elgin

The Pat Munro Group has been operating in the Highlands, for over 70 years. Formed in 1945, in Alness, the business is still 100% locally owned and managed and has steadily expanded to now have over 170 directly employed local staff.
The latest stage of that expansion is the opening of new concrete production facilities in Inverness and Elgin, to allow them to supply to an even wider area of the North Highlands.
Brian Munro MD said “In an industry which is becoming ever more dominated by a small number of large multi-nationals, we feel it is important that local companies, like us, try to expand and compete. That way we can continue to provide services, and career prospects, which are truly locally based. As part of this, we are very excited about our new concrete production facilities at Elgin and Inverness as part of our “building for the next generation” ethos.”
From its new facilities, Pat Munro Concrete will be able to supply the full range of their Kite Mark Ready Mix Concrete and CemFloor liquid screed solutions, to Inverness, Moray and beyond.
