Pat Munro (Alness) Ltd creating opportunities for Highlands young workforce

Pat Munro (Alness) Ltd has recently featured in a Highlands & Islands Enterprise case study highlighting the company’s focus on digital innovation and its commitment to supporting the young workforce in the Highlands.
Graduate Systems Analyst, Michael joined Pat Munro in 2020 through the Highlands & Islands Enterprise Technology Placement Programme, a support programme delivered through the Northern Innovation Hub, designed to build on and accelerate business innovation.
During his 12-month contract, Michael has supported the company with its ongoing commitment to digitising processes across the group including implementing a paperless HR system and introducing digital dashboards enhancing information flow to management.
Pat Munro’s Commercial Director Mark Bramley, commented, “Having Michael on board has allowed us to complete a number of priority projects, providing efficiencies in how we undertake a variety of activities. The Technology Placement allowed us an element of ‘try before you buy’ in terms of IT improvements, which, had it not been for the scheme, we may not have been able to trial.”
