Pat Munro takes delivery of new mobile concrete batching plant

Pat Munro has recently taken delivery of a new Sami mobile Concrete Batching Plant, and it is currently based in Dornoch Quarry undergoing Commissioning and initial production testing.
Commenting on the arrival of the new plant Pat Munro Director Steven Munro said “This state of the art mobile batching plant will initially allow us to meet demands in Tain, Dornoch and the surrounding areas more efficiently and with a significant reduction in our carbon footprint. The simplicity of the setup also allows us to move the entire plant and have it operational again within a couple of days, opening up new markets and possibilities for the local construction sector.”
The new plant will enable Pat Munro to complement the Concrete Manufacturing capacity at Caplich in Alness, and because it is mobile it can also be located at the Company’s other quarries such as Dalmagarry near Tomatin, which is due to be operational towards the end of summer 2015.
