Quarry Plant Maintenance Operative

Position Details

Location Caplich Quarry, Alness. Although you will be mobile for the work required.

Working Hours 5days, 7am – 5pm

Duration Permanent

Holidays 6 weeks including 2 weeks shutdown over Christmas period

Remuneration Negotiable depending on experience

Vehicle Company Van,

Probationary Period 3 months from commencement.

Reporting to the Quarry Operations Manager - your duties include:

Take work activity instructions from the Quarry Manager, be able to organise and prioritise work tasks to suit the business's operational requirements, including making adjustments when circumstances change.
Undertake repair, maintenance, service, and inspections, maintaining plant to a high level, working effectively, efficiently, and productively with a negligible need for supervision.
Ability to be highly productive, working to planned timescales to meet deadlines, whilst maintaining excellent standards of work quality.
Ensure effective communication with the Quarry Manager, Quarry Supervisors and work colleagues regarding work activity progress and completion, parts required, etc.
Completing all necessary paperwork in relation to all work activities undertaken.
Maintain safe working conditions and practices to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
All work activities must be carried out in a safe and efficient manner ensuring the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies are adhered to at all times.
