Core Functions of Role:
- Driving of the Bin Collection Vehicle (RCV)
- As a primarily Bin Collection Vehicle driver, your duties will include:
- The moving of bins from collection points on and off the bin collection vehicle
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Completion of all necessary paperwork daily & weekly
- Report any vehicle defects
- Adhering to all health & safety requirements
You will also be expected to ensure that all operations are carried out in line with UK and EU laws and regulations. These govern vehicle safety, driver hours, and customer’s requirements.

Applicant Qualities
The successful applicant will ideally have the following skills, qualities & experience: -
- Must be willing to undertake very early morning starts
- C Licence
- Driver Qualification Card
- Digital Tacograph Card
- Bin Collection Vehicle (RCV) experience would be preferable, but training will be given
- Must be able to perform tasks involving daily frequent bending, moving and lifting of full bins
- Flexible approach to work as driving different types of vehicle/delivering a variety of materials will be expected.
